Andrés García Viada graduated in Chemistry in 2019 at the UAM, where he also studied the Organic Chemistry Master´s degree in 2020. In addition, he joined the group of Dr. Juan J. Fiol in the Universitat de les Illes Balears, and the group of Prof. Mª L. Calzada in the Materials Science Institute of Madrid, in two different degree interships. He is currently realizing his PhD at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid under the supervision of Dra. N. Rodriguez and Prof. Dr. Juan C. Carretero. The Thesis has the aim to developed new methodologies for the transition-metal catalyzed remote C-H bond functionalization of amine and α-amino acid derivatives.
